Hi everyone,
I'm a little late getting this out, but I'm planning on grabbing some snacks (fruit, veggies, granola bars and juice boxes) for tomorrow morning. It will be easier than having the kids lug around their lunches. So you don't need to send in snacks for tomorrow. Also, we will be getting back for the lunch break, so those that ordered pizza will be getting it. Other than that, please dress appropriately! We will be outside the entire time. If you think of it, please send in an extra pair of clothes. But seeing as you won't get this email (if you subscribed) until Friday morning I hope you've thought of that already! I'll post pics over the weekend. Should be fun! Have a good one. Melissa

Check the picture section to see what we did:)
On Friday, we are off to Mountsberg for the day. We are going to see how maple syrup is made, play in the hay barn. see the farm animals and the birds of prey.
On Friday, please do not send your child's sac-en-plastique. Please send only essential items in you child's backpack (lunch, extra mitts and socks etc.). Please take all papers out and any toys. We would hate to lose any of these things at the conservation area. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather. We will be spending most of the day outside. Merci :) They will be donating all items as of Thursday. I'll have the kids go through it, but if you wanted to come in yourselves, you'll have to get here before Friday.
Merci:) Now that the weather should (hopefully) be letting up, we are going to be staying outside for about 30 mins at the beginning of the day. This affects parent volunteers and students who arrive late.
Parents, if you're volunteering pls come dressed for the weather or after 9:30 if you want to stay inside! Those who are late, please check to see if there are any backpacks on the hooks in the hallway. If not, then you can be sure that the students are outside. We've had a couple of kids get fully undressed only to have to get dressed again. Oops! Sorry. During this time I will be in the classroom doing reading with the SKs, so if you need anything, pop into the class. Merci for the help! |
