It seems some people weren't sure...so just to clarify there is NO SCHOOL this Friday!

Hey everyone,
Mme Miller and I have lucked out with our search for non-toxic nail polish. If anyone has any red and black at home, we would love to borrow it! Can you guess what we want to paint? Merci, Melissa Hi everybody, So we ran out of time this week to get stuff done, and now the kids have HOMEWORK! eeich! Don't worry, it's not difficult. Over the weekend, could you please have them pick out a good sized rock, that is hopefully flater. We will be painting them on Tuesday to make coccinelles (ladybugs). Merci for you help! Big upcoming date! Mark it down on your calendars! In lieu of the traditional Mother's Day and Father's Day activities, we will be celebrating our families on May 29th in the afternoon starting at 1pm. It would be lovely if you could join us! Grandparents are also welcome! The kindie team here at JMC is organizing a pot luck with a few other activities (songs, crafts etc). The idea is to come and celebrate together. Because of some special dietary needs in our class, I am hesitant to join the other classes in their potluck. So, I've asked if our class can remain inside to eat while the other are outside. Having said that, if you prefer to take your child outside, that can be arranged. So, if you are planning on coming please let us know (for number purposes), and please try to bring a dish that avoids the following food items: gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts. I know this list is extensive. If this becomes too difficult, please bring a dish that is labeled so we know not to give it to those kids who are unable to eat it. This is going to be our final celebration of the year that will include parents. It will be held rain or shine. We will not be doing any kind of "graduation ceremony". Hopefully you can make it! Now that we're in our 8th month of school, our classroom library is looking a little sad. There have been many ripped or broken books found over the months. So...I thought since you are the best parents I know, perhaps you would be willing to donate a few books to replenish/update our stock! Consider it spring cleaning! Merci in advance! And have a wonderful Easter weekend! |
