On behalf of Mme Miller, Mme Fedy and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful summer break!
The time has come for all the SKs to move on to Grade 1! I have to say that even though I'm not there right now, it has been a joy and a privilege to have taught all your wonderful kids. I really enjoy reflecting on some of the transformations that have taken place since they started school 2 years ago! I wish all the SKs the best of luck next year and I hope they know that they can come visit anytime! They will be missed. I look forward to seeing (and hopefully teaching) any siblings in the next few years! Also, as an aside for parents, you may want to take this time to unsubscribe from these emails at the bottom of this email. As for our little JKs, it is time to become the BIG kids now! I have recently been made aware that some of you aren't sure what's happening next year. I wanted to assure you that your children will remain in our class and we will put them to work training our new JKs! Everyone should have a buddy (or two) in September:) I, however, won't be returning until mid-December. Which means, there will be a supply teacher in for the first few months. I would love to have Mme Fedy again, but something tells me she will likely be offered a permanent position, French teachers are hard to come by. The good news is, Mme Miller is still there! I would also like to send out a big THANK YOU to the Polands who hosted a lovely BBQ on Friday! It was really nice to reconnect. Very thoughtful of you. Well, that's it for now. Enjoy your summer and feel free to look for me (and my kids) at Exhibition Park this summer!

A little bit about Mme EllisI have worked in Guelph for 8 years and have been teaching for 12 years. It is my 6th year at John McCrae and I love it! I have 3 young kids at home, so I know exactly what you're going through! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MS MILLER... I have been working as an ECE for 18 years and have a young child at home. This is my 6th year working with UGDSB, I am excited for the school year to get started and getting to know everyone. Hope everyone had a great summer! Archives
