Mme Miller and I were overwhelmed by your generosity and thoughtfulness yesterday! Merci beaucoup for all that YOU have done this year! Even with all the ups and downs and teacher changes, this group has really come together and many have made many good friendships!
It really hit me yesterday as the students were leaving that I won't get to spend time with the SKs next year! I find by the end of SK, students start to get really fun. I love being able to joke around with them:) But alas, they are ready to move on. SKs, you will be dearly missed! As for the JKs, I hope you have a wonderful summer and I can't wait to hear about it in September! Just a quick note that if you have no more kids in our class next year, you might want to unsubscribe from the blog. Otherwise you'll be getting emails in September! Have a GREAT summer everyone!! Merci! The Arboretum on Friday
~ For drivers, please meet us at the Nature Taylor Centre by 9:30 ~ Due to the expected heat, we will most likely leave early. Also, we want to be back for kids that ordered pizza:) ~ Bring pond attire - they will be at the water's edge looking for insects etc. You can send boots seperately if you like. Tye Dying T-shirts ~ We will be doing this on Tuesday and/or Wed of next week. Please make sure they are not dressed in nice clothing! Picnic June 23 11:15-12:30 at Royal City Park ` Bring your own lunch and enjoy! Corking ~Many students are really enjoying corking! Unfortunately, we have run out of yarn. If you have any lying around that you would like to send in...merci! Water Day June 28 ~ We will be organizing a kindergarten water day. Please send in bathing suits and towels! If anyone has a small kiddie pool they would like to lend (or any other fun water toys), we would appreciate it. Please keep in mind, it might get damaged due to the number of kids we will have out there! No valuables! Ollie le lapin ~ Mme Katsaounis and Mme Proude have a rabbit next door. Maybe you've already met him? Ollie is looking for a summer home. If you are available to take him - even for a portion of the summer - please let us know! He comes with all of his supplies. Classroom cleanout! ~ You should be receiving many things over the next few weeks. We will be sending home indoor shoes, extra clothes, pieces of art and phonics books that they students have been working on.
