Mme Katsaounis and Mme Proude's class have inspired us to join them with a special craft next week! In order to do the craft we need small or medium sized glass jars for the students. If you have any at home please send them in a.s.a.p! We would like to get started Monday if possible. Merci :)

Some of the students have expressed interest in learning how to read. I have been sending home some readers along with CDs to help them practice. Please note that this is NOT mandatory. They simply wanted to try. The CDs have each of the stories narrated (by me!). This was a program I developed a number of years ago for my Grade 1 class, but why not get them started now if they want?! I have many books to choose from, so I can switch them as often as they require them.
The series comes from an online database of French leveled readers called Reading A-Z. If you want to look it up, feel free! http://www.readinga-z.com/ |
A little bit about Mme EllisI have worked in Guelph for 8 years and have been teaching for 12 years. It is my 6th year at John McCrae and I love it! I have 3 young kids at home, so I know exactly what you're going through! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MS MILLER... I have been working as an ECE for 18 years and have a young child at home. This is my 6th year working with UGDSB, I am excited for the school year to get started and getting to know everyone. Hope everyone had a great summer! Archives
