Mme Miller and I had a great time getting to know some of our new friends this week! Surprinsingly, there were very few tears or "I miss my mommy". I put a few pictures up in the picture section.
This week we look forward to getting to know everyone even more! Our SK buddies have been doing a fantastic job thusfar helping everyone. Merci, les grands! A few things to note: 1. Mme Miller and I have decided to spend time in the morning outside with the class in our own special spot at the edge of the forest behind the portables. This means that shortly after the bell rings, we will be heading to the forest. If you are running late and need to sign in your child at the office, please make sure to walk them behind the portables to find us. Thanks! 2. Dot Day is this Fridy Sept 14th! Please wear dots if you have them! 3. The Open House will take place Sept 20th 5:30-7pm 4. Please click here to sign up for volunteering. I will post a schedule soon. 5. Thank you to everyone who sent in forms promptly. We are only missing a few. Unfortunately, there will be more forms coming your way this week. But that should be it, I promise!

A little bit about Mme EllisI have worked in Guelph for 8 years and have been teaching for 12 years. It is my 6th year at John McCrae and I love it! I have 3 young kids at home, so I know exactly what you're going through! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MS MILLER... I have been working as an ECE for 18 years and have a young child at home. This is my 6th year working with UGDSB, I am excited for the school year to get started and getting to know everyone. Hope everyone had a great summer! Archives
