We had a busy day of fun today in KB! We started the day by exploring more of the beautiful trees at John McCrae. The students had fun running around and finding leaves ,sticks, and bugs! In our classroom the chrysalis we've been observing finally opened up to reveal a monarch butterfly! The students were very exited and we had a discussion about what to do with the butterfly now that it was able to fly. Though many of our students wanted to keep the butterfly in the classroom, we thought it would be best to release him by our community garden.
Reminders: Tomorrow (Thursday Sept 22) is our open house from 5:30-7:00pm. Feel free to stop by the classroom to chat with us and explore some of the learning that has been happening. Friday Sept 23rd is our spirit day and students are encouraged to wear as many colours as possible!
