We have a fun week lined up! Pancake/pyjama day on Wednesday and the Museum trip on Friday! The kids are pretty excited! Just a couple of things to relay. 1) As I mentioned to many of you, our math teacher, Mme Germann, will be away for at least the month of December. 2) We have been asked to take in a former student in the afternoons with special needs (down syndrome). I've spoken to the students about how to have compassion and patience with others but anything you can add at home will certainly help. 3) Pizza will be delivered on Thursday instead of Friday in lieu of the field trip. 4) If you have any small boxes at home (smaller than a shoe box), we could use them for our Santa's workshop. The students have many presents to make and wrap! C'est tout. Have a great rest of the week! M

A little bit about Mme EllisI have worked in Guelph for 8 years and have been teaching for 12 years. It is my 6th year at John McCrae and I love it! I have 3 young kids at home, so I know exactly what you're going through! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MS MILLER... I have been working as an ECE for 18 years and have a young child at home. This is my 6th year working with UGDSB, I am excited for the school year to get started and getting to know everyone. Hope everyone had a great summer! Archives
