I wanted to share some resources I found. The first two links are interesting ways to say "be careful" and "good job" instead of always repeating those phrases.

Their mission is "To build a movement in which every child has the right to meaningful outdoor experiences that invite them to play, learn, and explore their place in nature every day". The conference is for educators and parents. Day 2: Saturday May 14, 2016 @ Black Creek Pioneer Village, Toronto Cost: $141.25 Keynote Address by Professor David Elkind – Professor Emeritus, Child Development, Tufts University Includes breakout sessions on "touchscreen technology and the young child", "health and wellness" "weaving in the great outdoors: full body play" and more. See details at the link below: http://www.yrnature.ca/play_and_nature_summit Please let me know if you are also interested!

I have 3 young kids at home, so I know exactly what you're going through! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MS MILLER... I have been working as an ECE for 18 years and have a young child at home. This is my 6th year working with UGDSB, I am excited for the school year to get started and getting to know everyone. Hope everyone had a great summer! Archives
