We're having some difficulties outdoors and in class with some bad language. We would appreciate your help! Unfortunately, for several weeks now, one of our students has been having difficulty using positive words at school. The F-word has been overheard by several students over the course of the past few weeks. We have been in touch with those of you whose children have been in earshot, but at this point I think it would be fair to say that there may be more students who have overheard this that we are not aware of. Yesterday I overheard several other students using it without really knowing that it was a bad word. Believe me, we are doing everything that we can to curb this behavior. The office is aware. It might be useful to have a discussion with your kids at home to reinforce positive words. On a positive note, please check the photos tab. I'll be adding pictures - finally - over the course of this week. Thanks for your patience! Lastly, we are modifying our "quiet time" ritual to eliminate the lie-down-with-a-blanket approach. From now on, we will be doing quieter activities. In the next few days you should be receiving your blanket back. Thanks for all your support! Mme Ellis
