Yesterday the students had a blast with the Wild Bird Presentations. The presenters were full of info about each species and how they were injured and ended up in the rehabilitation center. A big thank you to Anne Holman for making it possible!
This week we also had the chance to tap one of our maple trees. On Wednesday of next week our class will have a chance to meet with a representative from Sweetwater Teachings to learn more about how syrup is made. Also, on Friday next week we were planning another cooking day! This time, we will be making dried fruit balls using a food processor. Once again, if you are willing to send in any other the following items, or volunteer (1:30pm-3pm), please comment below. 1. Dried cranberries 2. Dried apples 3. Dried apricots 4. Dates 5. Dried strawberries 6. Shredded coconut 7. Honey So, quick recap. Wednesday - Seetwater Teaching (no charge) Thursday - Library Friday - Cooking Day! Happy March Break!
